The ewer has a plate-shaped opening, a long spout, a symmetrical handle, a Yuhuchun-style body with a short base, the body ornamented in the centre and on two sides with lace-work showing a parrot amidst foliage with traces of red pigment. The rest of the object is decorated in clouds, underglazed in blue. One can see the Persian influence in the metallic prototypes.
